A$20 million for ICT innovation in healthcare (Media release 21 Jul 08)

CSIRO today welcomed the launch of the Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC) as a national venture, supported by A$20 million in funding from the Federal and Queensland governments.

Medical Imaging Library: faster creation of medical imaging tools

Our medical imaging team is providing clinicians with simple software tools that supplement normal medical imaging visualisation of MRI and PET scans. These tools will yield quantitative measurements that would be difficult or impossible for a human to obtain manually.
